Milky white limbs folded lifelessly over cold, black marble floor. A
too-big chequered shirt in muted browns and greys covering a small,
flat torso. Delicate hands pushed into a tangle of auburn hair falling
like a curtain over a hidden face. The rhythm of shallow breathing;
the only sign of life. It could be said it was a serene scene, a mighty
start of a long-lasting memory to later be made into seemingly for-
ever (yet really never) by the hand of a pretentious artist. It could
be said it was an end, or just as well a beginning. However, in the
light of the crystal chandelier hanging way up high in the arched
ceiling, it was merely . . . a simple kind of existence.
